an absolute brute of a guitar, the m8m stands out in so many ways. what makes this a truly different monster is that its the signature model of fredrik thordendal and mrten hagstrm of meshuggah. the m8m was specially designed to accommodate their groundbreaking approach to the sound of metal guitar. the guitar features a massive 29.4 scale to achieve the tone that fredrik and mrten wished to achieve with an extended range instrument. the guitar sports a 5-piece maple/jatoba through neck with alder body wings and a rosewood fingerboard. the guitar is equipped with a custom lundgren model m8 pickup, a passive design with ceramic magnets that allows the unaltered, natural ferocity of the m8m to shine through as the audience listens in awe.
