extreme noise reduction say goodbye to unwanted noise and 60 cycle hum once and for all. the decimator x pedals utilize cutting-edge patented circuitry to provide unparalleled noise reduction, effectively elimination even the most stubborn background noise without affecting your instruments natural tone. enhanced adaptive tracking technology experience lightning-fast response times and ultra-smooth decay with enhanced tracking technology. with the newest patented variable integration time window technology, whether playing staccato, with or without pauses or wanting a nice long decay, this technology allows for a natural sound. the x pedals allow for a transparent and natural decay that preserves the integrity of your tone, even during fast paced passages and intricate playing. versatile routing options whether youre running a complex pedalboard setup or keeping it simple, the x pedals offer versatile routing options to suit your needs. with flexible input and output configurations, you can easily integrate the pedals into any rig, ensuring maximum compatibility and convenience. g string the g string pedal tracks the signal directly from the guitar, which allows you to switch from clean to high gain without ever changing the threshold setting. the new design allows connection of the processing channel of the decimator to be inserted into your effects loop or after your high gain pedals or preamp. a 1/8 phone cord is used to engage the linking function which allows you to link two decimators for two channels of noise reduction. you can also use one decimator g string ii and one decimator ii pedal to create a stereo setup. this connection allows both pedals to directly track the instrument providing the tracking performance of our professional decimator prorack g. the new decimator x technology nearly all noise reduction system including noise gates and downward expanders use a fixed release time. some will include a user adjustable release allowing the user to adjust this release time to fit their playing style. this means there is a huge tradeoff between playing fast staccato notes which requires a super fast release time to avoid audible noise, commonly referred to breathing, which appears after each note as the expander releases, and long sustained note used in jazz of blues playing. if a fast release is used with long sustained notes you get a very annoying modulation sound as notes decay. while isp technologies decimator has always used an adaptive release, this new technology further improves the adaptive dynamics where the release time is more adaptive and eliminates any modulation with slow decaying notes adding amazing transparency. with a desire to further improve this adaptive response, the new decimator x technology now provides a super fast response with staccato notes but virtually eliminates any choppy modulation with slow decaying notes by providing an integration release window. this innovation holds a slow release response until the decay of the note exceeds the number of decibels required by the integration release window. by setting this window to be larger than the ripple of the fastest release response the release will track only the negative going peaks of the decaying audio envelope. by making the integration release window adaptively slide downward based on the negative peaks in the audio signal any and all annoying modulation is eliminated providing the smoothest transparent release response possible.
